What a lovely little surprise in the small village of Lirac. I stopped to admire the church and fountain and was immediately drawn in by the warmth of the owners. The service was excellent and friendly and I felt like I was in my kitchen at home. Lunch was exceptional, the chicken with cream sauce, mushrooms and veggies was well prepared and wonderfully seasoned and the rice was perfect. I loved the atmosphere on their small patio and they had a wonderful house red. I'll absolutely be stopping by again when I next come through.Visited in April 2023

One of the most pleasurable lunches I've had in all of France, and that's not an exaggeration. The owners were friendly in a way that made it feel like coming home to part of the family, joking with us and sharing stories, and providing a very generous serving. I will gladly come back again!

The owners of this restaurant were lovely. The food was delicious, roast chicken, salad and pasta. We enjoyed our lunch after a long bicycle ride and it was perfect. The owners speak English, German and of course French so it's a great place to go if your French is a little rusty…Plus d’avis

Excellent place to eat at, incredibly friendly and humourous proprietors that served a nice and somewhat uncommon dish as lunch. Makes you feel like you're a regular that've been coming there for years. Just be sure to call them beforehand (especially if you've got a large party) so that they've got time to prepare as they are short-staffed.

Couple très sympathique qui gère ce petit restaurant, situé derrière la fontaine du village.Terrasse ombragée sous un magnifique platane. Réservation indispensable.

A discovery! We didn't believe there were still truly French bars and restaurants in France with their own unique "charm." We're thrilled; everything here is just right, from the ambiance to the very impressive owners, who speak many languages, are very open and welcoming, and, what's more, serve bottled wines from internationally renowned wineries. Endroit très sympathique et authentique au cœur du village sous les platanes Quelques plats faits maison avec produits frais à un prix doux servis avec le sourire. Couple de propriétaires souriant, très accueillant et méritant. J’ai adoré ce moment.
